Preparing metal surfaces and industrial structures is a critical stage in applying anticorrosive systems.
The performance and durability of any protective coating depend directly on the quality of substrate preparation.

Our team carries out blasting to every cleanliness grade:
| Grade | Name | Description |
|---|---|---|
| Sa 1 | Light blast cleaning | Removal of loose paint, rust and impurities; small traces left on the surface are permitted. |
| Sa 2 | Thorough blast cleaning | Cleaning of the surface until most impurities are removed; only superficial stains of oxides or adherent residues are accepted. |
| Sa 2 ½ | Very thorough blast cleaning | Cleaning of at least 95% of the surface; only slight shadows, light scratches or faint discolouration are permitted. |
| Sa 3 | Blast cleaning to visually clean steel | Complete cleaning (100%), with no traces of rust, paint or other surface contaminants, giving a uniform metallic colour. |
Depending on the cleanliness grade and roughness required, the type of substrate, the working environment and the execution time, we apply several methods:
We blast both metal substrates and concrete or brick surfaces, to remove deposits and prepare the ground for protective coatings.
We operate with mobile equipment, which lets us carry out the work directly at the client's site, in complete safety and in compliance with occupational safety rules.
Correct surface preparation ensures optimal adhesion and standard material consumption for any subsequent coating: resins, paints, rubber or ceramic polymers.
